Don't see that much - that's what you get for carving with that machete you use!!!! JOKING of course.
Sorry to hear about the cut Bart. 10 stitches is a lot for a finger.
It's good that your neighbor was there to take care of ya. Suppose you are not gonna make it to work tonight - huh. You want me to take over your Christmas carving orders???? |

| | Re: well Iwent and did it !!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry you learned such a hard lesson Bart!! I hope it heals up quickly!!
I go through lots of thumb guards, literally cutting through them, because I carve exactly how you said, towards my thumb. I've learned never to carve without one on....hmmmmm, guess it's safe to say you have too!
I'm sorry you got hurt, hopefully sharing your story will spare someone else from having the same thing happen to them! Thanks for sharing your pain with us....bet I'm not the only one who winced when they read it! Take care of yourself and again, I hope you heal very quickly, there's wood waiting! Deborah

| | Re: well Iwent and did it !!!!!!!!!!!! 10 stitches is a LOT for a finger and as I recall the most I've ever had in a finger was 7, back when I was trying to break apart two frozen chicken breasts with the butcher knife!! Guess that you'll have plenty of time to keep up with what everyone else is carving now
Thank's for reminding us to be safe and hope the healing is fast! | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
