If you ever have the chance to go to this show, I strongly suggest you do. What a group of carvers .

Davis Sabol won first and second in best of show and first in the open class. To see pictures of his work really does not do the work justice. He has really an amazing piece that is to be in chip chats soon. Really many outstanding carvers, and great people. I got so many tips , suggestions and help it was something.

Gary Peiffer's work is really something to see, Gary Stiegers did a group of running shore birds that had only four toes touching the ground to support the flock all cut from the Wye oak, really outstanding carvers, and more impressive , outstanding people.

Congrats Gary!!

I am very disappointed that I did not go. Wifey has a couple of things on a list, but we didn't get to them.

I'd like to, but could not possibly, ignore the list.... Maybe next time?
