Hey Forrest - I really like the idea of the basket-making going with the carvers show. That's something my wife would get into - she loves making baskets but can't find too many classes up this way. Ain't too many carving shows either. Looks like you had a good time.

Mark as they say, this show blew me away! Theres a old Native American lady in Jonesborough Tn, That makes beautifull tinny baskets out of pine tree needles. They are in high demand! I hope your wife keeps going with her baskets and Id like to see one sometimes. Im into any type of art!

Theres alot of carvers shows near me and I plan on making some of them when I can. But right now,I have to improve and get going at carving alot better.

I always have alot of ideas but after a nights sleep,Ive forgotten them!! LOL

They didnt have alot of ducks down there but did you see the ones Id posted in Birds & Animals here on board. I know you love ducks!!

Thanks my good buddy for your good input here,I appreicate it and You.

Forrest

Curt, its was alot of fun being at the show plus the fellowship with everyone there. I took 26 carvings, course 10-15 of them would fit in my one hand. {Mins.}Got lucky Curt and placed with ribbons on 19 of them.

Love to sometimes when Im at Memphis and Ms visiting my children and grandbabies to attend a carvers show down there in my home town. That would be so neat to me.

Thanks Curt for stopping to ck on me here and appreicate you buddy.
