Default Ward Brothers Museum

Has anyone been to the Ward Brothers Museum? I was there years ago. It is in Maryland. Very interesting place to see.

Yes I live nearby, it's located in Salisbury, Md. Their big show is coming up this April I believe. You should check out their website. The show is going to be great I can't wait. Here's the link. http://www.wardmuseum.org/

We visit Ocean City every year and make a stop at the museum. It's another one of those carving meccas that used to make me feel so lame as a carver. The Warther Carving Musuem in Dover, Ohio is another that is just amazing. I really enjoy all of the shows and displays now, since I've come to grips with my ability as a carver and have settled on the types of carvings I like to do. Mike

My brother has a home in Ocean Pines,MD. I was there years ago and really enjoyed the museum. I could have gone there everyday just to look at things but I had to get back home. Maybe I'll get down there again some day? Awesome place.

Been there only three times. That show is the super bowl of bird carving. First time I went there to compete I was very intimadated to say the least. The next two times competed in the world class nonfloating decorative with a swan and life size golden eagle which flew on the plane with me from California, what a nightmare!!

The competition is tough. So many carvers with so much talent. I don't think I'll ever attemp to compete there. Congradulations to all that do compete.
