Default :Walking Bear:

This is a older male back bear. I didnt want to make him cute or a teddy bear. Carved him from a white pine block,hes 1 1/2 inches wide,tall from ears to feet at 3 7/8 and long at 5 5/8's inches. White pine is hard but yellow pine is even harder.{tighter grains in yellow}

Just a old bear to sit and help me carve. Hope you like him and thanks for your comments or thoughts.

Forrest

Forrest,

Now that is a mighty fine little bear. You might not meant him to be cute, but he is. He should make a pretty good little carving buddy. Thanks for sharing.

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark

Hey, my friend! Good to see you back on here again.....and with my favorite subject, as you know! His eyes are stunning, and this little fella will certainly be a great addition to oversee your future projects. I love the walk on him, as well....determined to get where he's going.....kind of like yourself. Hope you let us see your flute fetish when it's done! By the way....this is no carving, but the real deal....my Big Girl....lol Bonnie
