Default Wacinton

This is a carving I thought might be of interest to some. It is carved from a 56,000 pound 25 foot tall Red Oak tree by Peter "Wolf" Toth in 1985 honoring the Chickasaw Indians who claimed the western Kentucky lands around Paducah.
I am posting it strictly for your viewing pleasure.

MA, burning and carving is not the same as playing with matches and knives.

If you put the federal government in charge of the Sahara Desert , in five years there'd be a shortage of sand.

How'd that one get away? The Chickasaw's were one of the tribes moved to Oklahoma! Poor guy.....all the ones here are getting rich from their Casino operations and he's stuck in Kentucky! Still....terrific looking carving!
