Default using a carving knife

Hey there,
I helping teach a bunch of carvers and I want to be sure I that I have something right. I need a diagram that shows each of the basic cuts in carving. Push cut, pull cut, slicing cut etc. Does anyone know of a source for this information? I'm self taught and I don't want to pass along any bad habits.

Thanks,
Dan

I don't know where to find a diagram, but you might be able to make one from the information in Gene Messer's Carving Review for Beginners. The first video covers wood, v-tools, and gouges. He begins talking about the three basic cuts in the second video.
