Default Update

Well, I had my CAT scan yesterday (did you know they don't use cats for that?). My doctor won't get results for 7-10 days, then who knows how long till I get a call from them. My woes began when I was originally scheduled, it took a while to get an appointment for the scan. Then the day before my scan, the Dr. office called and said it was rescheduled for 2 1/2 weeks away (21 Nov), so I go to the hospital, and they said 'you missed your appointment, it was yesterday' High and low of it, I got the scan! Ah, managed health care : : : Anyway I feel better just having that out of the way. Thanks for all of your cares and prayers. Ill keep you posted.

Lorax, you will continue to be in our prayers. The good news is that if it were really, really bad, they wouldn't wait so long for the test results!

True enough, Capt. They usually don't mess around with time if they think it anything too serious. Sorry you had to endure all that waiting and rescheduling stuff, Lorax - that can be worse than the test itself.

Hey Lorax
Hang in there buddy. Everything will work out. I just found out
I contacted Hep C when I had a blood transfusion back in Â*89.
We just have to play the cards that are dealt to us. I agree
100% on the managed health care crap. It's one of the worst
things that ever happened to medacine. Well that's quite
enough complaining from me. Anyway GOOD LUCK BUD.

Jimmo

Lorax - The Captain's right, if they were worried the wouldn't be taking so long. When I went in to get checked out they wanted to start cutting that day but couldn't because I had eaten breakfast. So had to wait until the next morning. Hang in there.

lorax - we're all friends here and as such, concerned about the state of your health as well as your tools. We sure hope both of them are razor sharp .
Please keep us informed about how things are going. :-*

Â* Â* Lorax, I agree, I don't think the Doctors would be waiting around so long...now the health insurance people....that's a different story. Â*Take care, keep us informed, I'll be praying for you, Jimmo and all others, 'who need HIS comfort, strength and healing grace'. Â*Callynne (sorry Muffy, I guess I'm just one of those lonely people!)
