Default Two recent carvings.
Here's my latest Wood Spirit in Cottonwood Bark. Finish is one coat of WATCO Danish Oil (walnut) and one coat of WATCO Satin Wax (dark).

You will recognize the "Greenman" from the Spring issue of WOODCARVING ILLUSTRATED . It is the project by Chris Pye. And it was not as simple as it looked. But if you really undercut the leaves, it makes for a very dramatic face. I wish the undercutting showed up better in the photo I am sending. 8" x 8" x 2".
