Wow.. theres two pieces to be really proud of! That sign is really great! Will the Cpt. be going with the signs new home also?

Great job on both projects Patrick. The Captain is an excellent image of an old salt. I love the lettering and knot work on the sign! Nice and crisp.

Once again, thanks for the praise.

Marci, perhaps I'll let the customer see it and maybe he'll want it to go along with the sign - good idea.

Bob, I was wondering what you though of the celtic knots - what a time I had carving those out. You have much more patients than I do with all the knot you carve. The sigh almost had a celtic cross on it but it looked too busy and distracting. I have a small slab of basswood that I might use for a cross and maybe some lettering.
