Default Two Brothers

Two Brothers
Arizona Cottonwood Bark
25 1/2" Tall x 2 1/4 Across x 1 1/4" Thick
Finish: Deft Satin Lacquer and Watco Natural Wax (two coats)

Hi all:
My first Cottonwood Bark carving with two faces on one piece of bark. I had some problems with the upper face at the nose with flaking or chipping away. I'm more pleased with the lower face, only had one instance of flaking on the (viewers right) right side of the nose. Stopped further flaking by using some Crazy Glue.
As always I appreciate hearing from you.
Kathy

The two carvings presented that way looks really neat Mottles. Nothing wrong with the noses on those guys. Perhaps a brother and sister for your next one, eh.

Sharon: Thank you too, I think it must be the noses. tee hee

Corey: Thank you, I just love carving bark and I would have never thought so.

Kenny: Thank you, my friend

Kathy, another winner! The noses are fine, and the eyes are fantastic! It was a wonderful idea you had to do two faces in the single piece of bark. Makes it unique.

Well that's about as nifty as it gets... a twosome. Very interesting to admire and thank goodness for that crazy glue. Thanks for sharing another nice piece.
