| | | Tutor wanted! Hello! I am trying to find an experienced woodcarver/tutor who would be interesting in teaching a group of 17 very keen and enthusiastic mature men in an Adult Education class in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England. Our previous tutor has retired and I have 17 desperate men on my hands! The majority have been attending this class for several years and are quite experienced. The class is 2 hours per week on Wednesday mornings (from September, term-time only).
Best wishes, Carole |

He is leaving England to teach here in the states latter this month so contact him soon. There is also a link on his site for the U.K. Toolshop you can try them and see if they can place a sign in the store. Have you tried Wood Carving magazine? Maybe the editor could help out stuartl@thegmcgroup.com
I hope this helps.

| | Re: Tutor wanted! Cap'n, I don't know what your university life was like, but we didn't have many women in our engineering program at Pitt. The one we had in Met. Eng. was a nice girl, but got more attention than a stripper at a bachelor party. It's probably a little like going to sea with several women sailors on a destroyer. Or Mash 4077......... |

| | Re: Tutor wanted! MD, when I was in school, there were 1600 men and 7 women. And four of the women were there on football scholarships! Now there are about 2500 students and 250 women. Big improvement in the student body....no pun intended.......
