Default Tupelo source

I love to carve tupelo but lost my source. I live in Utah and it's a little harder to get.
Any of you carvers down South have a good source?

Years ago I used to get carving wood from Macbeath Hardwood in Salt Lake. I don't know if they still have a variety. Since then, I've stuck to basswood and get it from Heinecke.

It has been my experience tupelo is a little harder wood than basswood. I like working with tupelo more that basswood. It dose not fuzz up like basswood when sanding or using a power tool. I think it takes a finish better also.
