My son just had a tupelo gum swamp cut and there is an abundance of tupelo stumps to be had. I have a small sawmill and would like to make and sell carving blanks, if there is any interest. I can be contacted at blydvm@ainweb.net if interested. I live in central Alabama. The wood is near Camden, Alabama.
