Default Trying not to get my Feathers ruffled!!

I've been carving feathers these past few days. I carve them when my inspiration wanes. The small ones usually end up on a walking stick lanyard. One is a letter opener and two Eagle Feathers, yet unfinished. Haven't seen many on this forum. Do any of you carve feathers? I also have a wind chime packed away made of carved feathers. It has a very subdle tone. If I can dig them out I'll post some pics.

Dont think Ive seen anyone carving feathers here and it would be hard to beat the nice ones you have carved. Very nice work on yours. How long are they plus what type of wood are they carved in{the eagle ones} Forrest

beautiful feathers - I love 'em! I have done a few myself, and then carve a little indentation in the back of it, and glue in a small rare earth magnet. That way it can be used as a fridge magnet or even as a pin.

I was going to load a picture or two in, but come to find out I don't have any readily on hand.

Great work!!!
