Default Trees for the Girle Birthday

Made from shelf board, 21"x11"x3/4". The label said Hard Wood but was soft to cut. It think it was Basswood. Their Birthdays are in June so I'm ahead for a change. They will probably get them early. Put them together and did 2 at a time, seemed to work out OK, thought I would never get them done, two much repetition and became BOREING. Merle

Beautiful. What a great gift. The textures you created looks very realistic, and the finish works really well.

Merle, beautiful pieces! do you cut the shape out with a scrollsaw first, then carve?
