Default traveller

i am just returning from a 3+ weeks visit to North Carolina met and chatted briefly with Tom Wolf At Grandfather mountain,and met with several other carvers just outside Boone.
But i missed the message board,and while visiting my daughter i am using her computer to catch up.
to all who have posted new pictures,great work

James,

Glad you enjoyed your trip to NC. I should have had you drop by....I'm just down the hill from Grandfather Mtn.

What did you think of the 'museum' of Tom's? I'm going up there this weekend. I like the view.

Who else did you get to visit? There are quite a few in the area.

Mitchel-the museum was great only wish i had know about it sooner would have spent more time rather than sitting around waiting for the wife to cross the bridge(i don't like heights)
the other carvers were a group that were exhibiting and working at the original Mast store in Valle Crusis.
next time i hitch up the wagon i'll post a message and see who 's on my planned route.

Some of the carvers at Valle Cruz are in the club from Hickory (Catawba Valley)- of which I am a member. Unfortunately I have a 'regular' job that takes up too much time and I don't get to be involved in those type activities as much as I like.
