Default tooth pick carving.

hi all. I am new hear. and seen some tooth pick carving from another member of a other wood working forum. have you ever seen this, and if so. how does one go there to see it, and learn how to do this. thanks. Evie

I have seen alot of tooth pick carvings before and they are nice work .. but with eyes like mine .. I will keep them between my teeth ..

they are nice .. but they are so small .. detail is limited ..

Shamey is the best!!I talked to him on the phone last year when I carved a buffalo nickel. Hes a very nice man. Course most of his work and others use high power scopes with the right tools for carving tinny items. Id carved two tooth picks but think I could do a better job now days. Little items are fun to try to carve,plus your mistakes dont show as bad!! LOL

Heres my 1930's buffalo nickel where I used hand tools{like the old timey way of engraving} Id carved the Indian into a Hobo. The tooth picks Id carved old wood spirits in them.The house hold beans was fun to carve plus you can paint them. Theres so many things you can carve!! Hope this might help you plus just look around your home,theres alot of things you can carve.
