Default Tobacco Pipe

Hello:

I was wondering if anyone has any experience in carving a tobacco pipe that they would like to share? I see most pipes are made from briar but I am not sure where to purchase it and if there is a similar wood to use. Thank you in advance for your time, and happy carving!!

Casey

There have been a few pipe carvers to pass through....

Look at the "similar threads" below to see if you can find more info....or someone else may join in.

Hey Casey,
I think I've got a couple of pieces of briar. It least that is what I think they are. They are even pre-drilled. I doubt I'll ever carve them. They are yours if you PM me with an address.

Take care,
Dan
