Default time spent carving

I was out in the shop yesterday (my favorite place to be) and got thinking I spend a lot of time in the shop,it' is rare that I don't spend at least an hour or two everyday in the shop not always carving be usually something to do with carving, painting, cutting out blanks, etc!!!and once in awhile I even clean up a little. So I was wandering how much time some of you spend in your carving shop(or area) doing carving related task???

I usually am in it every day. I don't always spend much time there though. I probably spend a least 3 days though in it for more than an hour.

Dave,
It varies for me. I try to spend an hour a day at least everyday that I can. Sometimes there is a day or two lapse when I am unable to sit down at my bench. I usually make up for it sometime later in the week by spending a couple of hours or more.

I clicked 2 days a week, but that's not indicative of actual time...I may spend a whole afternoon down there a couple times a week or maybe just "visit" the shop and do no actual carving or woodwork. Then I may just avoid the shop altogether for a week or two.

I try for an hour or two a day everyday, more on weekends. Wish I didn't have to work.

Like Lynn I spend most of my day in the "shop" doing something. May be painting, carving, sharpening, etc. It was a long time coming but retirement is nice. To bad it doesn't begin earlier and last longer.

I try to spend a few hours a week in my shop, I work 10 hours a day and commute 1.5 hours each way so I don't get as much time as I would like through the week. Then I have a 4 year old boy and a wife (who like me to spend A LOT of time with her, I don't get that). Needless to say I don't get "my fill" of carving every week...
