Default Timberwerks

What did you think of when you read this name? My wife and I are trying to name the new studio and it is harder than I thought.

Timber is our dogs name and it also coresponds with wood working. I think werks looks a little more intersting than works. It has a little more flare to it.

I am open to suggestions or comments. As some of you know the studio will have a gallery area for the sale of carvings and furniture. Does this name fit?

Thanks for your help
Dale

Sounds good to me, Dale......but as long as you're playing with the phonics, why not try TymberWerks, or TimbreWerks?

I like what you came up with, sounds kind of like a happy little German shop, where people in leder hosen greet you with a big jolly laugh. Well, you asked what I thought when I read that name

Thanks for your input everyone. I made it offical and I am calling the studio Timberwerks. Now the next complicated step is picking a color to paint the studio ??? I also found out this morning I will have a total 16, 9 sec spots of tv comercial time that is part of the Cedar Creek advertising campaign. The total comercial length is 30 sec but two shops are featured for 9 sec each. Nine seconds is not alot of time so I better make a good impression. These will becoming out sometime in October I will see if I can get copies to send out to those who are interested in seeing it.

Take Care
Dale

Dale_O,

Being the technical person that I am, how about putting it on a web page for us to download or stream. This would make it easier and a lot cheaper for you to get it to all of us.
Remember this is a large board and I am sure everyone wants to see.
Oh! Don't forget to get permission. You know all that red tape copyrighting.

Great idea. I will need to have someone more skilled at this sort of thing do this for me. The tapeing is not to be until later this month. I wish I had more time to set up. Things always seem to take longer than expected and more money. It has been a fun experiance so far.

Dale-
Congrats on the name selection and the near opening of your shop. What a great experience. I hope the result far exceeds your expectations - income wise not expenses!

Enjoy-
