Default Thumbs up to the challenge.

This is my project . I have not carved anything outside the box befor let alone using bass wood. I usually follow a pattern or just carve spirit faces and mountain men in cotton wood bark. For me this was a challenge , thinking up something and then transfering it to wood and then carving it out. It is not great but you get the general idea. Thanks for the challenge and I may even try another one. The size is 3" x 2" . Have a good one all.

Congratulations on your 'first', and kudos on thinking outside the box. Nice to see work by others who probably got in trouble for coloring outside the lines in elementary school....
