Default thrift store find!!!

here's a piece i found at the local thrift store...i was real excited to stumble accross the carving at the local thrift store. the bill on the hat is beat up, and the pipe is gone, but what a find!!! i have not been able to confirm is this is an actual armand lamontagne piece, but i read that he used to carve sailors like this when he started carving. ayone have any opinions on this they would like to share? the 25 cents i paid for this was worth it regardless...

That is an awesome find and for a quarter a real bargain.

It always feels good to make a good find. I bought a stack of old WCI issues at a carving show for $5.00, in the stack was a copy of the first issue, I read in another post that the first issue is going for $100.00 :-)
