Ken, I like your concept of carving a piece with a theme built into it, nice idea and nice carvings. I really enjoy doing bark carvings too. Bill

Hi Ken, I really enjoy seeing your work it's really good. I have a piece of cottonwood root that I've been saving for a wood spirit. May have to call on you for some tips on working with cottonwood.

Very nice work, I really like the one of the building on the rock ledge. Great idea.

Sorry, I haven't acknowledge your comments sooner but we took an unexpected trip to the in-law. They are 80 and 78 but was not because of health. We had set the in-laws up with a pc and thought we had them taught enough to run e-mail and a little on the net, The FIL still rides motorcycles. Anyway, We had to go back over and help them some more on their pc.

Thank you all for the nice comments on the Bark carvings. Trying to improve and have some. Still far from where I wiould like to be on Santas. The Commissioned Angel overlooking the shepard was a joy to carve and now wish I had done some things differently. I assured the gentleman that there would not be another one like that but may be an angel or a shepard in another Bark carving.
Again, we just got back and thank you all. You comments are appreciated.
