I have a reef tank and I built the stand and canopy on the front corners of the canopy from the bottom to the top I have ladders on it I am looking for a cutout or rough out of a fireman that I can attach to the ladder and in one arm he would be carring a baby the other arm on the ladder.

you may have to just look at some different roughouts or blanks and look at them with the intention of doing what you want to not what they were suppose to be,if you want a cool one mac proffitt at smoky mountain woodcarvers supply has a firemans bust tht is real cool,it comes with a go by sheet where it is a caricature but i did it where it ws a realistic bust and on the front of the helment burned the image of the twin towers smoking on 911 the look on the face of the fireman you can tell it's suppose to be him watching the towers with them reflecting off his helmet, gave it to my dad he's a retired fire captain and he loved it,could tell it meant alot to him, point being it wasn't shoneas this type carving but it's what i adapted it to,mac and the gang there are great people to deal wiyh also, long winded i know but theres my 2 cents .....plus change!!

Most of those who have roughouts do them to resell. the roughouts are of actual carvings. Might try www.roughouts.com but I doubt there are any fireman that are carved like you want and then a roughout made. I carve a lot of fireman both roughouts form others and my own design. Yep for those who hate roughouts I do have some designs of my own. Anyways, I doubt that you will find a roughout just like you are looking for. However, there may be some that can be adapted to what you are looking for.
Best wishes on finding it.

Nick,

What is the overall height of the fireman that you're looking for?
