Default Thanks Corey & Eddy Smiles

Back in January of this year, Corey posted pics of some practice wood spirits that he carved in 6 inch sticks. Eddy Smiles suggested that they would make perfect key rings for keys used by more than one person, garage, back gate, etc. I thought that was a great idea, and started making them as gifts for family and friends. These are from Silver Birch branch pieces about 5 inches long and from three quarters to one and a quarter inches diameter. Another nice little project for when you are waiting on someone. Thanks for looking.
Regards
John

That is a nice bunch of little faces John. What a fun project, and some great gifts for friends. Hang them all on the same key holder, and you will have quite a gossip session going.

Great job, Tom

That is a nice bunch of carvings John. I especially like the last one with the little guy looking at the bigger one. I tried a small one to hold the car keys but after a few months the keys fell off. I used 5 minute epoxy but I guess they were used too often to hold up
Thanks for sharing I really enjoyed looking at them (Shoudn't there have one bear for eddie LOL)

Neat little carvings John and a great fill-in project while you're waiting around at the doctors, dentist, oil change etc. Of course I've never figured out what guys do with the wood chips at such places. Yup, definately keep em all together so they can talk among themselves. Perhaps they'll start multiplying too!
