I'd like to add my voice to the heartfelt thank you chorus here. WCI, and Fox Chapel by extension, is one of the greatest, if not THE greatest positive influence promoting woodcarving. From maintaining this forum for all of us to participate in and share information and encouragement, to the magazine with all the fine information and projects, to the many great books Fox Chapel publish. And above all, the great, friendly people, Bob D., Shannon, Claudio (in no particular order) and everyone in the background. WCI/Fox Chapel ROCKS!

Ditto what everyone else said.
The magazine is a great treat but it's a long wait between issues. This forum gives (for free!!) me nice carving people to talk to all day, every day.

Tops in every regard.

I don't know of any other place you can go and exchange ideas and info. with the best in the field at the click of a button. Coming here makes me feel like a kid in a candy store.

Best to the entire staff, (especially Claudio)

Jim

Well, seems I'm late in my praise WCI staff, both message board and magazine are tops. I have benefited from both and will always have a soft spot in my heart for you all.
Hugs all around,
Kathy

I have to echo everyone elses great remarks. Great magazine, great website, and great people that interact on this website. I'll let all other magazine subscriptions run out before turn loose of the WCI subscription.
Keep up the good work at WCI and Fox.

Bob De . hit the ole nail right on the head when he posted the 'Thank You WCI' and everyone else's posting mirroring his heartfelt thoughts!!! For those of us living in an area without the availability of a local club or fellow carvers, WCI and the forum it provides are our only source of advice, experience, and encouragement as we struggle with our new found 'addiction'... So count my thanks and appreciation with the best! Keep up the great work and fellowship!
Kenn
P.S.: When is the next WCI due to be sent out...can hardly wait!

I'd like to chime in as well. WCI is a fantastic magazine and this board has a wonderful supporting ambience for all carvers, both new and experienced. The magazine is written in the same way. A big thank you for providing this! And thanks to all the members here who share their knowledge so freely and provide great encouragement.
