Default Teddy

Get your minds out of the gutters!

I'm talking about a carving I did of the teddy bear I've had since I was about a year old. He's had a rough life since, as a child, I sometimes had to save him from my sister or my cousins. But he's as loved as he is worn.

It's more of a stylized copy but I'm sending it to my mom. I think she'll get a kick out of it. Maybe someday I'll try for a realistic carving of him.

Hi Mike, agree your mom will love it! You can always tell the most cherished toys--there the ones will worn, tattered and soiled. I still have a few too--actually did an oil painting of both hubby's and my favorite toys together. Our children are already fighting over the painting...I told them I'd paint another if they STOP the rucus...KIDS!
