Default Tax Collector Elf

Hi all, here is #5 'Tax Collector Elf' so named by my hubby Terry.
He is 7" inches Tall and 3" Wide from ear to ear.
Not one of these little elves seem to come out the same and isn't that great!
This elf, got finished a little differently than the others not intentional either.
I forgot to dip him in BLO, and instead went right to the Watco Wax. Which made the antiquing come out a little darker than had I used the BLO.
I hope he will survive time OK.
As always I appreciate your thoughts and comments,
Kathy

hi kathy, i have enjoyed looking all your elf, though only silent looking, but i enjoyed, and you got quite a collection by now... do you carve them just for fun, or do you have an intentionwith them ?... i like the way you present all them with this moon shape hanger, it reminds me always at my childhood, when my mom read me bed time story (hope this is translation you can understand?)... nice work, and its fun to see you enjoy :-)

Hi Kathy,Who would have thought that you had trouble doing EYES not to long ago. You got the Eyes down pat, the rest of the ELF isn't to Shabby either. Very good job. Merle

Hi Doris, thank you, I really appreciate hearing from you. Yes, my collection is for fun/practice, and growing--by the time I get done I'll have my own little 'Elf' community. lol
Yes, I believe I understand what you are saying and I'm pleased my little elves evoke a pleasant childhood memory for you.
