| | "Talking or Story Stick" One of our members asked if I could do a short tutorial on woodspirits a while back and I had intended to do this very thing with this latest carving but I kept on forgetting to take pictures as I went along. Well, I do have a few photos to share to show the progression. This little guy is a popular style to carve as I've seen him posted here many times. This is my randition of that style from one of our members photos. The talking stick, or story stick, is going to my Neice in PEI. There is no narrative with the photos in these two - three postings. Next time I'll try to remember to take more pictures. The wood is popular and is a foot long. Enjoy.

Didn't realize Bigfoot was so big! That thing is huge! No wonder you had to use a torch.

| | Re: "Talking or Story Stick" Thanks everyone. I have a story to go along with it to explain the beads, bone chards and feathers on the leather string. I hope she likes it. Thanks for your comments.
