You know, everyone, I am just overwhelmed at the talent all gathered here. Wouldn't it be great if we had our own gallery, the 'Carving World Gallery', where people could add photos of their work and other fun stuff?? I know it can be done - there's an AOL chatroom for artists...and they started their own 'Wall' where they have posted their work. Any carvers that are also computer geeks? Have a friend who is a computer geek? We just need someone who can build and maintain the site. It would be a great opportunity for everyone to share their work. What do you all think?? Teri |

8)Hello gang, Â* Â* Â*I too would like to see the works that others on the board have completed. Â* Â* Â*I have been power carving for little over a year on a hit and miss basis and I’m still at it. Â*Reviewing other projects can be a useful learning tool along with the message board questions and comments. Â* Â* Â*I do not know how to set up a board like you mentioned but others here have posted their works on Picture Trail and it seems to be a nice (free trial) from of displaying their wares. Willie!!!! Beeeeeeeautiful !!! C'mon, someone has to know how to give us a space to put at least one picture each up. It would be so cool.On the subject of canes, I'm disabled - I have severe arthritis in both legs, and cannot walk without a crutch. I'm wondering if I could use a cane instead.....one of the wonderful canes I've seen in this place, perhaps? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Who has what for sale, huh? Teri |

Well Teri we'll see how this works. I opened a picture trail account under the name: carvers-R-us anyone wanting to post a pic there click on log in and enter the password: carve then click on upload pics and follow instructions. It's a freeby account so I think there is a limit of like 36 pics but we can see if the idea flys. http://www.picturetrail.com/members/edit |

We should be able to upload photos right to your post from storage on a website. Maybe the Web Master can show everyone how.

Willie, your canes are mah-velous!!! Really nice. And that bull frog, amazing. You sure do work with hard wood. I have used some of the hard woods on the lathe, but shy away from the real hard stuff when carving. Keep up the good work. Bette |
