17 mallet tools, not much for the price but I am sure I will be pleased.

Good for you North Wind, You've done one of the hardest things to get started - Make up your mind what tools to start with. Swiss are a good choice in my humble opinion.

That actually is a good price for Swiss tools I know you will be pleased with them. I started out with six mallet tools I now have probably over 50 of them and they are still as good today as they were when I purchased them.

Patrick, thats just what I got. I was looking at the sets but to many that I will not use or not now anyways so I got what I need at this time. I was thinking I could sell the flexcut but then figure better not. Just might have to do a grind on one sometime.

I was just in Woodcraft in Roswell, GA just north of Atlanta yesterday, and bought myself one new pheil tool. I'm happy adding one at a time to mine, but extremely envious of your purchase.

News for anyone in this area. Woodcraft was stocking their new display of Pheil tools to carry ALL of the Pheil carving tool line! I was so surprised, and very pleased, because they have never had a terribly good selection before. Terry, the man I usually speak with, told me they have decided to carry every piece now. They also have a 10% off almost everything in the store going on this coming Saturday, tomorrow, the 1st of March.....I might go back down again.
