Default SW Missouri Classes

A couple of days ago I was talking to another woodcarver and was asked to let her know of any classes being held in the area. I mentioned the annual functions and then happened to remember the classes organized by our local club (Ozark Mountain Woodcarvers). We take advantage of instructors who are in the area for other activities to schedule 1-3 day classes for anyone interested (not limited to club members). In addition, there are monthly sessions by local members who also do some instruction.

Since we have a fair number of WCI members in SW Missouri/NW Arkansas and quite a few who visit Branson each year; I thought it would be a good idea to post here of some upcoming classes.

May 5-6-7, Rick Jensen will be doing Bark House Carving

May 23-24 Harold Enlow will be teaching tool making (I hear that Harold and Ron Wells are really into blacksmithing now).

October 3-4, 6-7 Nedra Denison will be doing pyrography.

Late October there will be two weekend sessions (two days each) with Harley and Midge Schmitgen.

If you are interested in any of these classes or are going to be in the Branson area and want to know what is happening, pm me and I will get the details to you.
