OMG! I just saw this thread..... Thanks for the kind words. I haven't even seen the magazine yet. Several of my carving buddies, here locally, have called to tell me about it. I guess I need to get that issue of Chip Chats....

The lady in our club who does the publicity for the show, came last spring to interview me and take photos and also dig through my box of old photos, since I didn't have many carvings here at that time.

I'm looking forward to the show...and am a bit nervous about it but I know it will be fun. I always enjoy the show...I'm just not normally the person on display. LOL. If you are in the area, please come by and say hi.

You'll probably see it before I do unless I borrow a copy from a friend too...LOL.

The club puts these articles in to Chip Chats to run in the last issue before the show....so I got to thinking, it's a bit early for that. There must be another issue after this one, before our show in March. The lady that submitted it said the same thing. It wasn't supposed to run in this issue. It was supposed to be in the Jan/Feb issue. The only thing I can figure is that because I'm a Santa carver, the magazine decided to run it in the issue that covered Christmas. Oh well, it's done now...
