Default Stuff

Hey all. I made it through back-to-back shows (thank heavens) and am finally beginning to be able to breathe again. What a whirlwind of activity and long hours. Made some good sales, and got to spend good time with fellow artists - always a bonus. Those public things take alot out of me, though - emotionally, mentally or something like that. I feel completely drained. I don't think I'll do that too often. It seems worth it to me to let the galleries do all that 'people' stuff and just stay home and work. I always feel like a fool when people want to talk to me. Well, I guess I am....the santa-carvin-fool :-)

My Angel is here visiting, so I'm getting some good time with her, too. She's getting married next month, and we went shopping for her wedding dress yesterday. Hard to believe my little girl is nearly 25 and getting married. Gulp.

Hey There Teri; glad you survived. The Reasons to Believe show was lots of fun. Sorry we didn't get to visit more....you WERE all the way at the other end of the tents....ATLEAST 20 ft. away!!!! Your Meatballs were fantastic, and like I've already told you numerous times....your new tall Lighthouse Santa was breathtaking. Make sure you post a photo so everyone else can see it too....although it REALLY needs to be seen in person to get the full impact. Next time you get lost in the backwoods of Seattle, just call your friendly Canadian Carver to come to your rescue again....always glad to help. Dave

Hey Teri, glad you made it through your hectic time! I agree with the Galleries part, although I love showing my work and talking about it, I'm not much of a sales person....okay, no sales person at all....and the idea of 'promoting' my work myself makes me cringe. :-/
Congratulations on Angel's upcoming wedding, give her my best wishes....hope you found the perfect dress!! Callynne

As always, I am in awe of your work. I really love the lighthouse keeper. Thank you for sharing the pictures. The talent and artistic ability you and the other carvers there have is incredible.

My respects Teri, that is first class work. Impressive carving, vivid imagination, and wonderful painting. Of course, as a sailor, I'm drawn to the lighthouse-keeper.

Beautiful representation and creation!
