Default Study of a face.

This one I finished up today with a coat of tung oil. Thick, narrow piece of Cottonwood Bark from N. W. COTTONWOOD BARK SALES. It is a life size partial face, showing the front left side, I thought it very interesting

It's really good and you are right, it's right. Now what's left?
I really like the eye detail.

I like it as well. Leaves a little for the imagination.

Like it.
Is there a lot of sanding prior to the tung oil?
If that's your carving stand, I'd like to learn more about it. How well does the lever lock up the tilt of the upper part?

I see some green grass in the background, I've almost forgotten what it looks like. Major blizzard storm yesterday & last night (again).

Great Job John! It has a very whimsical statue of liberty look about it... I believe you got the good side. Infact, thats the only side i see!
