Near Killeen ... about 60 miles SW of Waco or 60 NW of Austin, take yer pick. There is a carving club in Killeen, don't belong, but do support them and know most of the folks quite well.

Hi ED., I was stationed in Fort Hood in 48.Got picked up by the sherriff in Kileen,cming back from drinking in Temple.Is Kileen a bigger town since then?

Place is growing. Too big. Time to move west I guess. The place has gotten huge in the last 5 years. About doubled in that short time. If you count fort Hood, about 80 thousand (without fort Hood, about 80). That's just in people, doesn't have the infrastructure, stores etc. that would normally be associated with that number. Of course it could get small in a hurry too, all depending on fort Hood. Don't know the sherrif and don't want to, at least not in the way you met him.
