Default Where is the strangest place you've ever carved?

By popular demand and to help kill some time over the holidays, share with your fellow carvers the strangest place (location) that you've ever carved. There's a rumor out there that one of our carvers favors the loo at Walmart. Now that's going to be a hard one to beat.

My own location is much more modest..... sitting in a rocking chair outside of the Goodyear Store in Athens, Tennessee while waiting to get my vehicle serviced.

What's yours?

Eddy .. I would say .. since it's unthinkable to do this today .. I carved on a airplane trip to California before 9-11 ... Now that is impossible today ..

Even the thought of that today is a crime ..

Probably, In my Dads hospital room. I had a towel and everytime the nurse came in I'd cover up my work. It helped kill time.

Hanging from a ridge pole in a bolsons chair repairing a bear head that I had carved in a purlin beam on a log barn that had been damaged by a bale elevator.
