| By popular demand and to help kill some time over the holidays, share with your fellow carvers the strangest place (location) that you've ever carved. There's a rumor out there that one of our carvers favors the loo at Walmart. Now that's going to be a hard one to beat. My own location is much more modest..... sitting in a rocking chair outside of the Goodyear Store in Athens, Tennessee while waiting to get my vehicle serviced. What's yours?

Eddy .. I would say .. since it's unthinkable to do this today .. I carved on a airplane trip to California before 9-11 ... Now that is impossible today .. Even the thought of that today is a crime .. Gene

Probably, In my Dads hospital room. I had a towel and everytime the nurse came in I'd cover up my work. It helped kill time.

Hanging from a ridge pole in a bolsons chair repairing a bear head that I had carved in a purlin beam on a log barn that had been damaged by a bale elevator. Al http://picasaweb.google.com/al.hillis/WOODCARVINGSMINE |
