Default Stenman sessions??

Has anyone here had instruction from Fred and Elaine Stenman? They are coming here to our carving club for instruction in august, and I signed up for their class in relief carving. I missed them last year, but several members of the club had good reports. I'd like to know of anyone elses' experiences with them. Also classes by Vi and Don Faust in woodburning and intermediate wood carving will be there.
Any input?

Al

Default Re: Stenman sessions??

I have to admit that I am somewhat predjudiced as Fred and Elaine and I belong to the same woodcarvers club. Elaine's style of teaching is laid back and she starts you out with projects that you can easily do in the time frame given. She refuses to send anyone home with a piece that isn't done. I personally have not taken a class from them but they teach at our winter carve-in in January and I know that everyone is truely pleased with the class. I firmly believe that you will not be disappointed. Pam
