We hold our evening meetings in a high school as a special education program - we are covered under them.

If you're not organized as an entity how can you have liability? Sure anyone can sue you but bascially you're a bunch of people that meet to carve. I think we all get a little too concerned about liability without thinking through if there is any. If I cut myself who would I sue?
Our club meets every week at the local senior center. We collect $25/ year & give most of that back to the senior center. I suppose they have somel liability because of the facility but it's not any different than any other group.
We have no real structure, just a time & place to carve every week. It doesn't have to be complicated to work.
