Since we are talking about some show pictures, we don't have a sign posted at our show, so I shot away. You can view them at spokanecarvers.com Tom E Last edited by Tom Ellis; 11-26-2009 at 04:14 PM. Reason: creating a link |

Thanks Ed, and Corey. We had about 220 entries, which is about normal, but our attendance was way down this year for some reason, perhaps the economy. I was happy with my results though. Thanks, Tom |

I thought your show was better than usual. I really liked that display by the carver that did that unusual stuff, like the giant pea pod with people inside, and the boots that looked so real. To bad the attendance was down. You took home some of the classier ribbons. :-)

Thanks Kris, The carvers name is Tim Rahman, and everything he does is unusual, and very original. He was our featured artist. People don't believe those boots are carved until they look inside, and he only hollowed them out about three inches down from the top. His maple maple bar makes you want to pick it up and take a bite. A good time, Tom E |

You are right about that Randy, There are some really great carvers around and it is really fun seeing people advance from the novice class on up thru the ranks. Too bad some people don't want people to take pictures of their work, so we can all enjoy what they have created. Thanks for looking, Tom |
