Hello, does anyone use the black spindel steady on their lathe? It has a very large screw, and when I get close to the tail stock, it becomes very difficult, as I can't get my wrench in to tighten it. What tool should I use or any other ideas with this steady would be great. You can view this item at http://www.woodcraft.com/family.aspx?familyid=5000 I also listed this thread in the tool section, but this seems to be the main area. Thank you -Kenny |

Did you consider rotating the rest so the screws face away from the head ? Ash |
