Been workin on this for 31/2 days, finally finished today. It's cherry wood and it measures 13 1/2 inches long. Hope ya'll like it. It's the biggest spoon I've tried thus far, guess I'll do some small ones now. Cliff |

Thanks Shawn and Robert. Shawn, I really do like the cherry, and besides, it's all the food safe wood I have on hand. I have a couple more boards on the way, three feet by 7 inches (I think). It's so nice to work with, tough as H... to sand tho. Cliff |

Really neat Cliff,I like the shape of a duck and the head in the handle. You've turned into a real spoon maker and rather nicely I must say!! Nice work and the finishes set them off just right! Forrest Forrest

Nice ladle, Cliff. That looks like something I'd have to think twice about before plunging into hot soup! I like the simplicity of the design, as well as the fact there aren't any places food could get trapped. I cook a lot (because I like to) and I'm always concerned about food not being able to be cleaned out of a utensil... Claude |
