| | Sound Off! What's on your workbench right now??? We haven't had a good sound off lately...so...let's get this going!
What are you working on right now??? I've got a Celtic lovespoon that's going to be a present for an upcoming wedding. It'll be carved and scrolled. So far, I've got the inside cuts made, but I've got to cut out the perimeter, and carve it. It's in Spanish cedar.

| | Re: Sound Off! What's on your workbench right now??? I'm looking at a 2"x16"x8' piece of, I think, white pine that I'm going to carve. Don't know whether to cut it up for smaller reliefs or make one big one. I'd like to carve one big something.

| | Re: Sound Off! What's on your workbench right now??? Hi BobD, I'm working on a carving club project, eagle pins for our club give-aways for children and seniors.
Other carvings I have going is a mountain man and a floral relief carving.
I also have a planned relief carving utilizing three boards which will be hung spaced side by side.
You Celtic lovespoon sounds really nice and what a terrific wedding gift.

I also have two santa ornament blanks and the patterns and cut-outs for three stocking hangers. Oh yeah and one half finished shelf elf. So much carving, so little time! |

| | Re: Sound Off! What's on your workbench right now??? Here is the sailing ship I have been working on. I placed a quarter on the carving to give you an idea of the scale of this piece. Don't seem to have enough time here lately but this is also a big project.
