Default Some spoons I've carved...

Here's a few spoons and one fork I've carved recently. The large one is a tasting spoon and the dark line going across the grain are in the wood. I used Howard Butcher Block Conditioner on all of these spoons even though some will never touch food. They are all carved out of basswood except the one carved out of red aromatic cedar. They are all my own designs. Comments and suggestions are welcome. Thanks for looking.

Thanks, Hal, notice the photos are nice and crisp this time. I finally used my Digital Rebel. Had to scale the images down a bit, though to upload them.

Thanks, Tony, they definitely are addicting. Especially having a Denny spoon gouge to carve out the bowl with.

Great spoons Ed, you mentioned a 'Denny spoon gouge', I have one spoon in my wip pile but it's not really coming out that great. Can you work the bowl without this gouge? what's the secret?

Congratulations on the fine work

Nice bunch of unique spoons Ed, like em all. Cedar is fun to work with, beautiful colors & aroma.
