Default How about some monthly mini challenges?

What do you think about doing some type of monthly mini challenge to get creative juices flowing again?

We can do one or many, as the month goes by, just post them for all to see. Remember the jenga block?

We can put something like, " Mini Challenge, January" in the topic and anyone can still add a picture any time of the year if they carve what that challenge is, under that topic.

Maybe a vote at the end of the month or the original poster picks out a name and they do the next months challenge theme?

What say you? Any interest? Any new ideas to add to this?

I don't know how often I would participate since I carve slow, but it sounds like a fun idea.

Some time ago, Susan Irish suggested an online quilt...everyone contributing a square...how about that as a first challenge??? Carve whatever you want on a 5" x 5" square, and post the photo here!

Bob I like that idea as you know Barb is an avid quilter I am sure she would guide me along. We havent done anything for any charities lately I think we should be about due. Just like the friendship cane I think it is a great idea. Just one thing when it comes to auctioning off dont let Ash bid

Everyone's invited!!!!
Let's start by just posting photos of what we've done...maybe down the road we can talk about a charity project. I just don't have time to administrate something like this right now!

I haven't had to time to carve lately but seem to have time a plenty now and this sounds like a great idea to get me back into the "grain" of things.
Looking foward to seeing the first project.
