Default Some of the finished Sumac carvings

Hi gang,
Do you remember those sumac carvings I was doing all from one branch? Here are a few of them finished. Also three segments for the canes to be auctioned off at the Open House. The two woodspirit segments are two sided.

Well done Colin.....that looks like a dark room full of mad Vikings caught in the light! Great expressions on them!

I look at your carvings and their bewildered expressions, and they're asking the same question I am:

HOW DOES HE DO THAT?!?!?!

Well Done Colin!

Colin........Love your facial expressions

HOWEVER........this is what your this thread and your prior thread tought me......You took one Sumac stick, sat down and carved out a dozen or so faces, having fun with your knife, which at first I thought you might have been carving a multi-face walking stick, but then you've cut the stick into all individual spirit carvings.......fantastic work, thanks for sharing, now I visualize how you did up 300 or so this summer....... professional mass production at it best. done by one of the best!

Bill
