Default I Sold 3 Carvings!

Well, I put my ego on the line and posted a 3.5" Santa on Ebay. After posting it, I looked at all the other Santa carvings being posted and was completely horrified that I even tried! I'm talking total embarrassment and humiliation here! The others posted were amazing; I didn't even think I could compare.

The very next morning I received an email from a woman asking if I would post a "Buy It Now" price so she could buy it right away. She offered $35 which for my first sale, low confidence, and first time I thought it was fair. Then she asked if I had more! I sold another 3.75" Santa for $45 and another for $20.

$100 isn't bad for a newbie! More than anything, it was definitely a confidence booster.

Congratz, Jill! That's a good feeling, isn't it? And as you said, a good confidence booster!

Way to go! It always makes you feel good when someone brags on your carvings. But it really makes you feel good when they reach into their purse. Then you know they really do like your work.

Doug,
When it REALLY feels good is when the cash goes in YOUR pocket.

OK Nancy. Actually, I'd post them here, but anytime I try to do the thumbnail, it keeps coming up as an error.

Jill, it took me forever to get on to being able to post photos. Not am not too computer savy. Several members walked me through the various methods to resize your photos to enable posting. I am sure someone smarter than I will help you too. Photos are an important part of this board. Tom H

Two members the did give me very detailed instructions on how to post thumbnails, but I still can't get it to work. Maybe a fresh new set of eyes (hubby will have to try later for me!)
