Hi all, At Dayton this year, I saw a booth that had faces carved in softballs. I looked at them, but didn't stop to ask where they got the softballs. I figured that was a no-brainer. They looked like rubber, like the inside of a golf ball. So I went out and bought a few softballs, and they are all cork inside. Anyone know anything about carving softballs? What brands have rubber/plastic insides? Thanks much. Ed Metzler Indiana |

Some one who plays softball told me that the practice balls might have rubber inside since they can be used inside for practice. I saw one at a show in Kansas City and it was yellow on the outside.

I saw the same display , the lady was carving them, while her husband carved wood.
