I will assume you have filled out the appropriate OSHA forms and you have notified the proper authorities that an industrial accident has taken place and your "Marathon man" has been advised of his rights to collect
unemployment based on his new disabilities??????

I turn my carving "goofs" into some of my best work. It's amazing what you can do when you are "forced" to get creative and finish a frog out of a rabbit!

It depends...

Crazy Glue, white glue, new design, etc...

It all depends on how, when and where the accident happened.

Some I enjoy the challenge of trying to fix it or go in a different direction (but my carvings are on the small side). Others that don't turn out quite right, I like to pass on to my duaghter. She is 4 and LOVES when she gets the chance to help me out with the paint.

I "over haul" the disasters: I _haul_ them out back and toss them _over_ the fence into the neighbor's yard where they are demolished in his fire pit.

I use to cut my goofs into small pieces so i couldn't pull them out the trash and repair them. Now i try to be a little more creative with my mistakes.

try to learn from them and start again...

i carve more stone than wood, so other than changing the design of your piece, there's no fixing stone.

cheers

all depends on how i mess them up.. but i have a shelve devoted to mess-ups.. i try and work on one every once in a while and call them my rescue carvings... if i cant rescue them they go into the woods with a strong throw and angry words are involved... before my dog of 14 years passed last year they went to him he would love to chew them up.....
